Managing Director
Founder and Managing Director of Millbrook Group, David Lyall is highly experienced and respected in the non-banking lending industry. With over 20 years experience in business, David oversees the day-to-day operations and management of the Millbrook Group of Companies which have been providing fixed income to its investors with a key focus on building long-term relationships, founded by a mutual trust.
David has owned and operated a number of businesses in home building, land subdivision, farming, insurance and finance. He holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and is a Responsible Officer for both the Millbrook Income Fund and the Millbrook Credit Fund.

Greg Fagan is a seasoned financial services executive and investment specialist, bringing over 30 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families. As an Independent Non-Executive Director at Millbrook Group, Greg contributes strategic insight and governance expertise, drawing on a distinguished career in wealth management and financial planning.
Greg is the Co-founder, Chairman, and a major shareholder of FMD Financial—one of Australia’s leading professional advisory firms—where he has been instrumental in building the firm’s reputation for excellence in client service and investment strategy.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, and a Diploma of Financial Planning. Greg is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), CPA Australia, and a Fellow of FINSIA.
Active in the investment industry since 1992, Greg is widely recognised for his depth of expertise across strategic planning, investment management, and wealth accumulation. His extensive experience and independent perspective add significant value to Millbrook Group’s governance and strategic direction.

Michael has over 36 years’ property experience gained from an executive career spanning the likes of Knight Frank, ANZ Funds Management and APN Property Group Limited. At APN, Michael managed multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios including pure AREIT, hybrid (listed and unlisted) and Asian REIT funds. Having sat on multiple boards, he is currently Chairperson and Independent Non-Executive Director of Newmark Property REIT, and the Responsible Manager for property fund manager Bayley Stuart.
Qualifications include Bachelor of Business (RMIT); Diploma of Valuations (RMIT); Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment (Securities Institute); Member of the Australian Institute Company Directors.

Gregory is a seasoned property professional with over 30 years’ experience across private, corporate, and government sectors in development, investment, and finance. His career spans residential, commercial, retail, and industrial assets, with strong expertise in equity and finance. He has held senior executive roles including National Development Director at Macquarie, CEO of Selpam, CEO of Places Victoria, and founding CEO of Development Victoria.
He is currently a Director of Mawson Property, which he established in 2021, and serves as Chair of the Ginninderry Joint Venture in Canberra. His extensive experience strengthens Millbrook’s Board through deep property insight and strategic capability.
Gregory holds a master’s degree in project management, a Diploma in Building Surveying, and has completed the AVIRA Executive Programme at INSEAD (Paris).
